Volunteer:

            Of course, you can come out to the current build site and help build a house…check the Construction Calendar on the Home page for the current schedule and come on out and help us.  However, if pounding nails is not your thing, we can still use your help.

• We need construction mentors to help train enthusiastic unskilled laborers. 



• We need committee members…do you like dealing with facts and figures? Our Financial and Construction Cost committees could use your input…do you like organizing things? Our Volunteer Management committee could use you…do you know real estate?  Our Site Selection committee needs you…



• Come volunteer at our Thrift Shop.   Help is especially needed during the week- Monday-Friday from 2:00-5:00.  Just call 386-774-0083.



• Most importantly, pray that those now living in substandard dwellings in our five-area community may come to know about the work S.W. Volusia Habitat does; that people will open their hearts and extend helping hands in actual labor and/or in giving tax-deductible donations; that the Family Selection committee members study applications carefully and arrive at just decisions.

You can take donations of clean, usable items to the Thrift Shop (between 9:30-2:00 Monday – Saturday) or call  (386) 774 - 0083  for pick-up of your donations.

* Note: We do not have storage facilities to store building supplies prior to construction.
